Aroma: Orange jam, maybe grapefruit, a bit of caramel on the nose. Spicy hops. Mouthfeel: Lively carbonation and an oily, sticky texture. Taste: Very nice interplay between bitterness and sweetness. Citrus hops are the main feature here. Nuts, honey and a tiny alcohol note. Finish: Mellow sweetness with a firm bitter and spicy hop background. Dry. Overall: Maybe the best greek beer as of 2011. Very good stuff, the kind of which one can consume in large quantities...

Almost the best beer I could find on crete for the first few days. Amber colour, white head, good carbonation. Aroma has subtle grapefruit and other citrus fruit, a malty sweet note and a slight earthiness. Taste is similar, well balanced, good bitterness, the nelson sauvin comes through just about. Actually really reminds me of Sierra Nevada pale ale. Decent

330ml bottle at home. Clear golden color with nice white head. Citrusy hoppy aroma, pine, grass. Sweet and bitter hoppy fruity taste. Medium body, oily feel, average carbonation. This is the best Greek beer when you find it on tap. It is almost a different beer! A bad thing is that every time, from keg to keg the beer is different again!! Usually very good though.

Bottle sample at a tasting at the Beer & Beyond shop. Thanks avrashi. Clear gold, white head. Malty, bready aroma in the beginning, that becomes very neutral. Mild bitterness, some roasted potato taste. Long finish and medium body.

Fresh and fruity pale ale. The Nelson sauvain gives the beer a slightly acidic and grape like taste and aroma. Needs a bit more body though.

Bottle from beer-shop.gr. A bit hazy golden/yellow with a large white head. Aroma of hops, grapefruit, flowers and fruit. Similar taste. Soft and easy to drink.

The only blank point is the carbonated feel. Good taste and aroma of citrus and some pineapple. I can imagine this beer to be my starter of a warm summer night.

Bottle from The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours light amber with a white head. Aroma is lightly fruity backed by mildly roasted malt. Med body, at least. It’s bitter. It’s not very malty. There’s a berry aspect. White berry. Carbonation is rather spritzy. This is a pretty good beer.

Bottle sample at a tasting. Thanks avrashi. Clear yellow golden color. Aroma of tropical fruits, peaches, grapes and malts. Sweetish with grassy hops and malty notes, low-med bitterness. Medium-bodied. Decent.

Countbeer (4302) - Best of E-Town mit ein Brauhaus, NETHERLANDS - APR 11, 2014
Bottle: served in a chouffe glass: Medium to bigger sized white foamy head on top of a clear yellow colored beer. Aromas of hops, some apricot, citrus, some (tea) herbs, some flowers. Typical but very decent. Flavours of apricot, tea herbs, hops, bitters, light citrus/lemon touch, some flowers, light yeast. Quite tasty! Aftertaste is a mix of hops, fruits, bitters, herbs and light flowers. Medium carbo, creamy light spiced mouthfeel, good medium bodied and a creamy texture. Nice beer, good hop tones present, easy drinkable,
