(Bottle, In De Wildeman, Amsterdam, 28 Feb 2015) Black colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with chocolate, coffee, black rye bread and a touch of liquorice. Malty, roasted taste with notes of coffee, dark chocolate, black rye bread and a balanced roasty bitterness. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Well balanced and tasty porter. Nice one.

33 cl bottle as "Septem Saturday’s Seasonal Porter" @ Timo A. BBE 15.04.2015.
Pours dark ruby red color with a small head. Very malty and bready on the nose, some cocoa, dry wooden notes and manure. Dry cocoa flavor, faint coffee, dark berry notes and some nettle-like herbs. Better than I expected.

Bottle @ home as saterday. Aroma is light roast, coffee, malt and mocca, light fruity noye. Flavour is deep roasty malty mocca with a hint of liquorice. Faint buttery note but not disturbing at all. Easy drinker, high flavour, great!

Bottle at Zythodon Pub in Platanias, Crete may-14. Big coffeetasting rather light easydrinking porter with some nice touches of cream and chocolate. A Little too light but an okey porter anyhow. Even my fiance liked it.

330 ml bottle. BB 15/04/2015. (Cava Π) Athens, Greece. Dark reddish brown colour with a small frothy light tan head. The aroma is delightfully hoppy, chocolatey, roasted malty, mildly bitter and marmalade sweet. Yummy! The flavour is also very nice. Fruity hops, mild bitterness, mild roasted malt and chocolate in a dark flavour. It’s just a tad thin - but hey - it’s only 5.5%. This beer really flips the Greek ratings to another dimension. Well done! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from Greek SM Brown with dark amber tints, nice tan head. Aroma of roasted malts and caramel malts. The same in the flavor, nice but not very complex. Finish is just the same, a bit thinner bodied than expected and a bit higher carbonation. Good brew but nothing special...

Rated as Septem Saturday’s Seasonal Porter. Smoooth malty beginning. Fresh, nice roasted malts with a nice and floral bitterness. Hints of mint (thus there is only Fuggles in and probably no Polaris), fresh, smooth. The aftertaste is long, minty-chocolate with hints of a nice roasted bitterness. But for me the minty touch is too much.

Bottle @ THT December. Pours a clear dark brown beer with a medium sized, off white head on top. Aroma of roast, coffee, slight chocolate. Flavor is medium sweet, little chocolate and slightly herbal. Not really interesting to be honest. Watery moutfheel, slight bittersweet aftertaste.
