Bottle 0.33l. Deep red to brown body, medium beige head. Aroma of dark fruits, cherries, chocolate. Taste is sweet with nice roasty bitterness. Again dark fruits and chocolate, solid dark malty base. Medium body and carbonation.
Very pleasant dark ale.

Bottle from a supermarket in Thessaloniki, Greece. As Saturday’s Porter. Pours dark brown with small but lasting milky coffee colour head. Aroma is of chocolate, toasted malt, and cherry. Fairly high level of roasting giving it quite a high bitterness, with a medium sweetness. Light/medium body, sticky texture, lively carbonation. Finish is long, with lasting toasted bitterness. Decent but lacks a bit of body and rather too fizzy.

Very tasty.

A malty and light sour aroma. The beige head is fizzy and small with a short duration. The body is black. A taste of chocolate, malty and light bitter. The head is medium strong, very creamy with a soft carbonation. A nice light porter.

Bottle from European Secret Santa, thanks rouhlas! Pours dark brown, nice foamy beige-brownish head that is rather persisting. Aroma has some milkiness, subdued roast and milk chocolate cocoa, some cherries. Taste reveals medium-bodied but decent porter. Carbonation is strong and at first this feels rather light, only to be continued in a long lingering aftertaste that showcases roast bitterness and even some tar. Not that sweet at all, nice and dry porter. Would never say it has only 5,5% alc.

the rating is for "saturday’s porter"...Aromas are sweet malt, bread, a little bit of chocolate and hop.it pours a brown to black body with a one finger tan bubbly head that doesn’t stay but leaves a thin trace all the way down.the taste is mainly bitter and the sweetness is not there. You can feel the alcohol.

330ml bottle, from trade with Rouhlas. Many thanks! Pours deep brown, nice tan head. Chocolatey aroma. Smooth mouthfeel, lightly viscous, chocolate, light dark fruits. Not a massive amount going on, but still enjoyable.

0.33 l bottle as ’Septem Saturday’s Porter’ from ’De Bierkoning’, bottled in July 2015. Clear, very dark red with a huge, creamy, slowly diminishing, tan head. Sweetish, fruity-malty aroma of raisins, blackberries, some dark chocolate and nuts. Sweetish, fruity-roasty taste of raisins, blackberries, dark chocolate and coffee, followed by a medium long, roasty and slightly bitter finish with notes of coffee. Thin to medium body, effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. A beauty in the glass, an appealing aroma but a disappointing taste and a bit thin as well. Still nice though!

Bottle at home, Euro Local Swap from Rouhlas, cheers Nikos
as saturday porter
pours ruby brown with fluffy beige head, rich and fruity, fairly sweet with light butterscotch note which works rather well as a dessert beer.

Bottle at picked up at Craft and Draft (shop) Amsterdam, consumed at Camping Het Riven, Landsmeer Nr Amsterdam, Netherlands, Monday 5th October 2015. Some chocolate on the nose but a bit of wet cardboard also. Brown on colour with a large frothy beige head. Smooth with a little milky chocolate, fruity and with a little tang. It is ok but perhaps a little thin at times. A6 A4 T7 P3 Ov13 3.3
