Hazy, golden.
Weissbier-ish in both aroma and flavour.
Rather fresh and the banana-flavour is not very apparent. Ungstrup (11703), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jul 28, 2003 The aroma is sweet - very faint with notes of banana and yeast. The color is an unclear orange and it has a beutiful but disappearing head. The flavor is rather sweet with weak notes of banana in the beginning, with a good malt sweetness in the middle, that resides for a light banana flavor which at last turns into a light bitterness and some acidicness. An OK beer - pretty refreshing. rickgordon (3077), Göteborg, Sweden May 10, 2004 Bottled.
Hazy golden. Citrus notes in the aroma. Weissbier-like in its sourish, milky flavour/palate. No bitterness. Papsoe (11073), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jul 29, 2005 (Bottle 33 cl) A Tanzanian/German cooperation about a banana beer brewed on licence in Belgium - a truly multinational enterprise indeed. Pale golden, rather hazy and almost without any head. The carbonation is very high though. Having expected yet another sweet fruit-beer this came rather surprising. Almost no banana aroma, instead you get a dry, slightly sour beer reminding me of.....lambic! Just completely without all the subtle and sophisticated flavours. Very strange brew indeed. 120702 faroeviking (4589), Faroese Autonomous Beer Republic, Denmark Jan 4, 2007 Bottle. Hazy light golden colour, hardly any head. Malty, bit sour aroma. Weak flavour of banana, has more of a wheat taste to it. Sour and dry finish.
