Hansen (1828), Randers, Denmark Dec 11, 2003 Flavored with mango-aroma!? Expected the worst, but it was not that bad. Sweet, fruit in the start, something like a witt-bier, but finished more bitter. yngwie (3762), Kristiansand, Norway Sep 12, 2006 Bottled. Clear, pale golden with a nice, white head. Mango, spices and malt in the aroma. The flavor is fruity and spiced with a good dash of banana. Lots of Co2. Medium to thin body. The beer is too carbonated, but the mango gives it a surprisingly nice touch. (060823) gunnfryd (2839), Kristiansand, Norway Sep 13, 2006 Bottle. Yellow/ golden colour with a white head. Aroma is mango, malt, spices. Flavour is mango, wheat, malt, spices. TBone (5172), Pori, Finland Apr 9, 2006 Bottled
Hazy pale yellow, small white head. Fruity, yeasty aroma, maybe hints of mango. Light to medium bodied. Crisp, fruity, touch mango in the fruit esters. Light blond Belgium, not bad as such. Ungstrup (11713), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jul 28, 2003 The aroma is slightly fruity with notes of apricot and mango - not enough aroma. The color is a hazy light orange and it has a small disappearing head. The flavor starts off very sweet with some fruit notes (mango and peach), in the middle it prickles the tongue, and ends on a light bitterness - that lingers. The flavor seems a little artificial. A very special beer - worth trying - but probably not one I'll go back to.
