Look; caramel beige good head and ultra dark mahogany clear body. Aroma; big bowl prunes, plums, almonds, hazelnuts, brown malted candies, toffee notes. Taste; sweet dark chocolate, prunes, leafy hops, malted candies, cola bean - leading to a smooth mild dark toffeeish finish with chocolate and raisins. Soft on palate, near creamy, good body. Overall a very good dark beer. [50cl @restaurant and Brewery Sessler in Trnava SK, T@Ferie2015]

UPDATED: APR 11, 2015 Fľaška z chladničky. Veľmi tmavé pivo, hustá ale rýchlo padajúca pena. Voňa karamelovo-kyselkavá, chuť kyslastá s ovocnými tónmi. Svojrázne čierne pivo, ale celkom chutilo... Repete na čape v pivnici u Sesslera, príjemne nasládlé s karamelom, chutné čierne pivo.

From 0,5l bottle. BBD: 02.04.2013. Pours dark mahogany brown liquid, medium frothy tan head, falls slowly. Aroma of toast, roasty, caramel, coffee. Bit acidity/ citrus in the aroma. Taste medium sweat, light bitter, medium sour. Not a bad beer, but little bit disharmonious. Palate: light body, slick texture, average to soft carbonation. Aftertaste is bittersweat with hints of roasted malt, medium intensity and rather low duration. Overall not my favorite Dunkel, but drinkable, refreshing, if there wouldn´t be anything else to try, I would get another one.
