Jan 20, 2004 Sample at the brewpub. No exception, this, that porters are often the best thing at mediocre brewpubs. Dark reddish-black, light roasted malt nose. Nice smoky-oily flavor, with light chocolate cookie tones towards the end. Good finishing bitterness, full body. Not great, but I might try it again.
