puboflyons (400), New Hampshire, USA Dec 15, 2007 Poured from a growler into a pint glass. Only available from the Seven Barrel Brewery in West Lebanon, New Hampshire (USA). Sharp looking mahogany-brown with a generous tannish head. Sweet and slightly nutty aroma. Something like malts too. Comfortable mouth feel. I noticed the malted flavor and it was sweet and smooth. Overall a fine microbrew. Too bad it is only avallable at the pub. jcwattsrugger (4087), Florida and, New Jersey, USA Sep 28, 2007 @VT Beerfest–on tap-pours a dissipating off white head and dark brown color. Aroma is mild medium malt. Taste is thin medium malt-mild coffee, secondary spicy hops. Mild carbonation. FrankGrimes (3), Nashua, New Hampshire, USA does not count Mar 8, 2007 This is the best "micro-brew" I have ever had, tried it on a whim and never looked back. Haven’t had it since 2005, need to cop some more of it soon. All the descriptions I have read from the other raters have been pretty accurate. Highly reccomended for brown ale fans. VTHopHead (709), Barre, Vermont, USA Nov 5, 2006 Sampler at the brewpub - Now called the "New Dublin Brown" - Poured a dark reddish-brown in color with a small light tan head. Aroma was malty with some sweet caramel mixed in. Flavor was quite malty with a strong showing of roasted malts. This almost could be called a porter instead of a brown. Some smokiness too. Finish was malty and lasted a while. Not bad... Miguel (1181), Sorel-Tracy, Quebec, Canada May 9, 2005 J’avais plutôt lu « NEW dublin brown ale »... M’enfin... Café et caramel en finale. Âcre. Pas de mousse. pas de finesse...
