Roasted and caramel malts develop hazelnut-like sweetness before wooden hops and dark malts contribute bitterness to this mailed in but drinkable Brown Ale.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A ring of foam circles the brown haze.
-The body is healthy and the carbonation smooth.
-The flavor profile is balanced, if not entirely cohesive.
-This would make an adequate session, I suppose.

Only available from the Seven Barrel Brewery in West Lebanon, New Hampshire (USA). Sharp looking mahogany-brown with a generous tannish head. Sweet and slightly nutty aroma. Something like malts too. Comfortable mouth feel. I noticed the malted flavor and it was sweet and smooth. Overall a fine microbrew. Too bad it is only avallable at the pub. jcwattsrugger (5583), Florida and, New Jersey, USA

Haven’t had it since 2005, need to cop some more of it soon. All the descriptions I have read from the other raters have been pretty accurate. Highly reccomended for brown ale fans. | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 5, 2006 Sampler at the brewpub - Now called the "New Dublin Brown" - Poured a dark reddish-brown in color with a small light tan head. Aroma was malty with some sweet caramel mixed in. Flavor was quite malty with a strong showing of roasted malts. This almost could be called a porter instead of a brown. Some smokiness too. Finish was malty and lasted a while. Not bad... Miguel (1181), Saint-Ours, Quebec, Canada
