Interesting attempt, but ultimately a failure. Good reddish-pink color, decent nose of cherries and...smoke? The smoke comes through in the flavor too, rather strange. Not very malty, no yeastiness to speak of, sour but also bitter and slightly off. I’m giving it as high marks as I do because I love the style so much, but I wouldn’t really recommend this to most people.
