2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Its not something I’d call a hop monster. I mean its pretty fucking hoppy, mostly of strong resins, bitter but not too complex.

On tap at the brewpub. Nice balance with a solid bitter finish. A bit weak in the middle.

3.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
My second new found Brewery of the night. Another Oregon Co. of course. It’s a very unique IPA, like nothing I have ever had before. Because of this uniqueness, I like it.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle. Hazy dark amber-copper. Big head. Strong hop aroma. Seems too clean for a big IPA. A little medicinal in the aftertaste. Gets more and more funky. Hops keep going in weird directions, eucalyptus, light cough syrup. Some woody citrus. Maybe it needs more malt for balance.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
Amber in color, clear with a thin head. Light hops aroma with a malt backing that was light and sort of bready. This was a average IPA. Could be much better.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle at Beermongers. Pours a dark copper color with a medium white head. The aroma was lots of fruity hops, light grain. The flavor though was a much bigger dry earthy grain mix, something a bit odd in there, caramel and candies, light hop bitterness. A bit odd though I can’t put my finger on it. Decent.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Draft at ncbc. Pours a murky dark amber with a loose tan head. Creamy medium body. Mild sweet nose. Pine and brown bread mid palate. Crisp resinous finish.

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
From a 22oz bomber poured into a pint glass. Glass was kind of warm because it just came out of the dishwasher so I kind of screwed up when I poured the beer. Carbonation was a little high but probably because of the warm glass. The good thing was the aromatics were released immediately! Killer hop aroma along with a nice maltinesss. Flavor is awesome. Rich malts along with a wallup of hoppiness. It coated my mouth real well. The finish was clean and persistent. Well done IPA.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Not sure what some tasters were looking for here. Pours reddish amber with a retaining off white head. Drinks well with apricot and sweeter fruit than many west coast IPA’s. Excellent pine resin and hop bitterness on the finish. They don’t all taste like Racer 5 guys...
