3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
UPDATED: JUL 13, 2013 Bottle to swill at the beach. A simple and gassy pilsner with a lot of semi-sweet rice puff, cereal grain cracker malt with some gravel / cement mix minerality and dirtiness. Hops seem like Saaz but are more vegetal with very light touches of pineapple esters. Potato starch and grain husks with some light DMS notes (corn, carrot, barley vegetable stew). Light body, effervescent, medium acid, medium low sweetness.

3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bomber from Made in Oregon. Pours translucent gold with a foamy white head. Aroma is bready and spicy/grassy. Med body. Flavor is bready and there’s some distinct noble hop spice and grass. It’s on the bitter side, and is quite drinkable.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle:   Pale straw, hazy, large frothy white head, very sticky lacing.   Tart nose, almost like
unripened berry skin.   Something is off here.   Tart grassiness, almost seems like a gueuze of sorts.
Backside has a sour touch to it.   Its also very airy.   Thinking there is something up with this bottle.
Not a bad beer, but certainly not a Pils.   Comes across as an Ale and not a Lager.   Seems like a tart,
bordering on sour, grassy type beer.   Need to revisit this one.   I think this bottle is off.

Golden clear in color with a thin head. Nice aroma with a light malt and hops balance. Touch of fruitiness from the hops. Very crisp beer this is a great hot day in the yard beer.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
22oz bomber from Roths Sunnyslope store in Salem.
Nice hazy yet bright yellow beer with a nice half inch thick white head.
Ok ,acceptable lager ,papery aromas..little hopping though..well maybe a wee bit.
tste is better than the aroma, hoppy and malty certainlly but the balance breaks down somewhat in the end..i think they are using some hops that are more suited for a pale ale though.
I actually liked this one as far as mouthfeel went.
Overall a nice PNW Pilsner/lager..very similar to Full Sails pilsners.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Poured pale gold with thin fast dissipating head. Some lacing. Aroma of fresh malt and new cut grass. Pleasant malty flavour, with a hop balance. Thin finish. This is not on of the great Pilseners, but will do on a warm day.
