COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A pale golden ale that is both super crisp and super hop forward with a refreshing mouthfeel and a summer friendly 6% abv. Mosaic & simcoe hops lend tart blueberry and fragrant pine to a pleasingly bitter dandelion finish. We wanted the hops to be the star in this seasonal offering taking its name from both the hop plant, Humulus Lupulus, and its light color and cloud-like feel, nimbus.

*Pairs well with a wide range of foods from roast chicken to burgers to fish and chips, appropriate cheeses could range from a mild blue such as Gorgonzola to a traditional cheddar or Derby with Sage.

Had this on tap at the Seventh Son brewery. Medium amber color with thin head. Aroma is loads of fresh hops. Flavors are light on malt, but heavy on the hops. It’s almost too much, but not quite. Light to medium mouthfeel with a fairly dry finish. Enjoyable pale ale with a kick. If you like hops, you’ll like the Super Pale ale.

Big can in a tulip. Pours golden/amber with a lacy, white head. Aroma of floral and lightly fruity hops, some pale and caramel malts, and some dough. Flavor the same. Average texture. Not bad, no idea how fresh this is, but it could be better.

Golden color out of the tap with a sticky white head. Huge fresh sticky citrus and herbal hop nose. Juicy hop beer with lots of candied orange peel, red grapefruit, pineapple, with an herbal and pine finish. Long hop burn in the finish. Nice hop head beer.

Can shared during RBWG Tampa. Light golden pour with a prominent white head. Nice and dry citrus and herb garden. Expressive dry hopping. Sweet white grape with a bit of earthy dried pine. Mellow bitterness, easy drinking.

Draft at Seventh Son. Pours a clear golden color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have toasted pale malts, floral hops on the nose, more resiny and earthy on the flavor, herbal, mild to moderate bitterness, ok for what it is.

Big Simcoe aroma to start off. Pours a clear amber with a large white head. This is a big hop forward beer, lots of pine and citrus notes. There’s not much going on from the malt side. Medium bodied, with a long linger bitter finish. This is one really good IPA.

Draft. No lace. Big onion aroma. If you like Simcoe and all that onion, un-citrusy pineapple, you’ll like this. If like me you don’t, you’ll roll your eyes at another Simcoe bomb. Onion flavor, onion finish. Also, onion.

Can during RBWG Booze Buse 20/02/15 thanks to Dr Silverworm. Orange golden with a decent off white cap. Nose is tang citrics, juicy hop, orange, citric pith. Taste comprises freshly cut grass, grapefruit, tangerine. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a good hop wash. Decent IPA.

Pour out of 16 oz can, clear orange pour with big fluffy white head, aroma brought notes of nice pine, grass, lemon peel into a bit of floral hops, touch of biscuit, bready malt with a hint of spice. Taste was a mix of biscuit, orange, hints of lemon into a bit of pine, touch of red fruits, slight spice, finishing bitter. Pretty refreshing.
