A single variety still cider
made from Yarlington Mill apples.
A cider made from a bittersweet apple that produces a rich, full-bodied, slightly, cloudy cider of an outstanding flavour. Colour is rich red and drinks well on its own and with food. Choose stronger flavoured foods like pork, ham, venison, wild boar, vegetarian and it is perfect to use in cooking.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bag in a box - The Harp, London. A hazy deep golden orange with no head on the pour. Sweet and chewy, juicy red apples, toffee & brown sugar on the nose. Not as heavy on the tongue - almost missing something on the mid palate - though drier & tangier. Leaves a dryness on the palate. Light to medium body & finishing with a medium length & intensity sourness.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
From a bag in the box at the Green Man, Bristol 3/06/2011. Deep orange in colour and flat. Chunky, slightly sweet apple aroma with a touch of wood and cheese. Easy drinking, with some fruity apple juice, a touch of the barnyard and dryish finish. Severn Sider are a great advert for Gloucestershire cider.
