A Mes rate: cask handpump from the Volunteers Arms at GBBF thanks to Christain.
Hazy gold with a thin white rim. Lovely grassy hop aroma that is carried really well by and earthy malt backbone. The flavour however is all wheaty a little out of balance and far from the quality of the aroma. Dry bitter finish brings it just about back on track.

Cask@GBBF2008. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is mild fruits, yeast, grass and some mild flowery notes. Flavour is much the same. Rather dry and also has some rather plastic notes in the finish.

Cloudy golden with tiny white head. Sweet fruity aroma with hoppy notes. Flavor likewise with toasted malt. Ends bitter.
