May 27, 2008 Cask-conditioned at the Cross Hands, Fishponds, Bristol 26/5/08. Dark brown in colour with a tight, tan head that left plenty of lacing down the glass. Aroma of dark chocolate and coffee with some grassy hops. Flavour had more of the same with some accompanying oak and red fruit, before a long, dry finish. Very drinkable.

Oct 12, 2007 Cask @ GBBF 2007. Pours a dark brown color with an off-white head. Roasted malty caramel aroma with some hints of hops. Sweet roasted malty caramel flavor and some hints of chocolate. Dry malty finish with some caramel hints.

Aug 28, 2007 Cask@GBBF2007. Dark amber colour, mediumsized beige head. Aroma is roasted malts, mildly bready and hoppy. Flavour is caramel malts, some sweet hops and slight hints of wood. Not very much carbonation in this one.
