downender (1732), Bristol, Gloucestershire, England Oct 4, 2008 Cask-conditioned at The Old Spot, Dursley, Gloucestershire 3/10/08. Amber coloured with a decent white head that left plenty of lacing down the glass. Aroma of savoury malts with a touch of red fruit and grassy hops. Flavour had plenty of chewy malts, with some earthiness and a slight caramel edge, giving way to a long bitter finish. A lot going on in such a weak ABV beer. Good.
