2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Brilliant light straw with a small head that just hangs around the edge of the glass. No lacing. Smells slightly of alcohol and some hops. A little malty as well. Bitter taste mixed with a high alcohol twang. Thin and bitter mouthfeel. An almost average beer, but does not strike me as a saison at all. Especially since it is labeled as a blonde.

(25cl bottle thanks to bu11zeye) clearish yellow, nice white head. Nose of Belgian yeast, sweet bread, and pears. Taste of pear, lightly spicy, mild alcohol, earthy, crisp lager-like linger.

Thanks to bu11zeye for sharing this bottle.
The beer pours a yellow color with a large white head. The aroma is grass and lemons with not much else going on. The flavor is toffee, as well as grassy and earthy hops. The bitterness is fairly low. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

1.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Bottle, bought @ Beer Planet, Brussels.
Pours hazy golden with a large, frothy, white head. Aroma is sweet, some pilsner malts, light citric and a hint of spice. Medium to high carbonation, fair frothy mouthfeel. Flavour is very sweet, lots of sugar. Almost sticking to my tongue. The bitterness that is in there seems to come from slightly darker sugar rather than from hops. Light citric in the far finish. Poor.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 15/20
Excellent creamy and foamy head, nice golden colour. Aroma of spicy hops, but not overpowering, just enough to get the idea. And also some malts on the nose. Taste is quite unique, a mix of corn, water, malt, barnyard funk, and alcohol. Lots of layers here, not all of them great, but itís a unique complexity. Good lacing too. Itís worth a whirl.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from Beer Planet, Brussels. Blond pour with a white head. Aromas of vanilla, pears. Quite a fruity nose. Flavours of caramel, light malts, toffee, vanilla. Nice fruity action too. Very flavoursome. Malty, sweet finish.
I notice the very poor ratings for this beer, itís a shame I thought this served its purpose very well.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Date expired bottle off Octoís shelf. Pours bright golden with a thinning white collar. Uninteresting sweetcorn, honey and brown bread aroma; flavour better but still uninspired with a dominant wholemeal, honey and toasted grain notes like a n/a beer- blindfolded Iíd swear this was a no alcohol. Trace of salvaging sprucey hop, but not enough. Odd.
