Light resiny nose with some phenols. Sweet with clean, hard mouthfeel. Syrup hides the alcohol well, but does nothing to improve the flavour or mouthfeel. Starts with some caramel sweetness which is quickly relieved by a very pronounced bitterness - but a soft not harsh bitterness. 200999 yespr (6889), Copenhagen O, Denmark May 2, 2008 25 cL bottle. Pours almost hazy orange with a fully diminished white head. Light yeasty and light overripe fruity aroma. Malty flavour towards almost grainy. Light oxidised malty finish. Clean but also bland and boring. oh6gdx (6332), Vaasa, Finland Feb 18, 2008 Bottled. Ambery brown colour with minor head. Aroma is caramel malts, alcohol, red berries and some leatheryness. Flavour is plumpudding with alcohol, caramel malts and some mild fruits.
