Publican is an American Pale Ale with moderate bitterness. It has a strong floral nose and a well rounded hop profile that travels from the tip to the back of the toungue with every sip.

Draft at Slackwater. Moderate amber color, thin head. Earthy character with a woodsy bite yet topped with a citrus flourish. Nice full body and fully flavored finish. (#4562, 4/9/2012)

Actually great amount of flavor for a low abv pale ale. Tons of hop character with citrus and floral notes. Malts are very subtle so the hops shine through. Enjoyed it a lot.

The first few pulls start out a little hoppy, but it doesn’t stick around. Good strong hoppy aroma plenty of malty flavor finishes smooth. Very drinkable would recommend.

UPDATED: APR 27, 2012 Bottle: so this beer is much better and quite good now. A rich fruity nose of oranges and lemon. The flavor is smooth and clean, fruity hops, light biscuit. A very good Pale Ale. On tap at the Bayou. Pours a clear straw color with a medium white head with some lacing down the side of the glass. The aroma is comes in like a Golden Ale- some sweet banana esters, light biscuit. The flavor is similar; a dry palate, earthy sweet banana esters, light bitterness throughout, some mellow biscuty malt. Easy drinking for sure, a bit different for a Pale Ale.

They have really fine tuned this beer since last time I had it. Aroma and taste is fruity, bisquity, light caramel and citrus. It is very smooth and easy to drink.

Appearance: Clear golden with a nice sized white head and spotty lacing
Aroma: Banana eaters and citrus
Taste: Banana, yeast and citrus
A nice beer, but is pretty light for a pale ale. Crisp and clean mouthfeel.

From a bottle, aroma of bready malts and slight grassy hops. This beer pours a light gold cloudy color with a white head. The taste is a light sweet, bready taste from the malt with a slight bitterness. Overall a decent pale ale from Park City.

Bottle from a trade with Gription79. Pours hazy burnt orange color with off white head. Aromas of grapefruit, sweet fruit and biscuit malts. Pale malt and citrus flavors. Light to medium body with lively carbonation. Thanks Dallas.

Fruity (tangerine-ish?) and floral hop flavor and aroma. Some herbal flavor in finish. Fairly sweet malt flavor, with really light bread. Nice malt flavor; could maybe use a little more of it, though.
