Not bad and surely better than the hideous filtered Albertan crap known as Grasshopper. However, I would not seek this out either because it is yet another bland and boring BC beer. As far as BC wheat beers are concerned Granville Island does a much better job, as does Howe Sound. Parksy (40), Alberta, Canada Jun 14, 2007 Really diddn’t do anything for me. Definitely nowhere near as good as Grasshopper. Wouldn’t go out of my way for this one. DuffMan (2139), Calgary, Alberta, Canada May 17, 2007 Pale straw colour, rapidly receding white head. Grainy cardboard aroma, same bland palate, vaguely wheaty, maybe a little tartness in the finish. Stick with Grasshopper for a western Canadian large-micro wheat. tiggmtl (4178), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada May 3, 2007 Very mild wheat and a minty note to the inoffensive but unexciting nose. Hazy blonde body is topped by a fizzy white head that recedes to a lasting cover with some sudsy lacing. Flavour is rather bland. There’s a bit of wheat and some graininess but nothing stands out. Medium light body has strong, fizzy carbonation that awakens the tongue, sadly for nothing. Tulip glass. Fridge temperature. Bottle (BCLS at 39th and Cambie, Apr-07).
