The aroma was almost offputting. Something reminiscent of what comes out of my dog’s rear end. The flavor, however, was another story. Very smooth with some nice coffee and malt touches. As long as you didn’t take to long of a whiff before you drank, it was pretty pleasant.

A solid and yet very creamy English ale. Great job! Don’t serve to cold though as it destroys body.

Like the others say not much head, some coffee hints, some creamy taste in there somewhere. Great after taste in my opinion. Also girlfriend hates beer but likes this beer? Strange.

Dark with very minor head. Is indeed reminiscent of OSB Porter. At once roasty and sweet with some vinous hints.

Beer pours a dark brown with a small tan head which quickly disipates. Initially the aroma reminded me of one of my homebrews, not a good brew either but one of the first brews I made. Luckily it did not taste like one of my early homebrews. The flavour was ok, there was some sweet malt and nut flavour in there. Overall it was ok but I would not make the drive to BC for this beer. Thanks to Oakes for sending this bottle to me.
