Cask at the Crosse Keys, JDW. Clear, vibrant gold pour with a faint head. Big fruity nose, lemon and melon, some grass and flowers. Lightly sweet flavor, some bubblegum, more fruits, light and grassy bitterness. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Hints of pine to finish, mild yeast, some bread and earthy hops. Alright.

Bottled. A golden beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma has notes of hops and elderflowers. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and elderflowers, leading to a dry and bitter finish. The body is light.

Stagnant and tasteless bitter. Dry finish. Watery flavours and palate. Boring! Poor!

Bottle 50cl.
Clear light to medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, roasted, light caramel, light hoppy. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20090724]

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of madmitch76. Clear golden with an off-white head. Fruity nose. Medium body, fruity and malty with a dry and lightly bitter finish. 240709

Bottled. Light yellow coloured. Unclear. Off white small head. Fruitish and flowery beer with a light sweetish touch. Both in aroma and flavour. A bit roast is notable in flavour. Medium bodied. HAs a light bitter end.

50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow with a fully gone head. Aroma is mild roasted malty and vague fruity. Fruity and roasted malt flavoured. Bitter and light caramelish flavoured finish.

Cask (gravity dispense), St Albans Beer Festival, September 2007. Pale amber colour. Fair balance of sharp hops and biscuity malt. A decent enough strong bitter but nothing particularly out of the ordinary. Can’t say I noticed the yeasty notes that others commented on.
