Bottle conditioned. ABV has varied between 4.8% and 5.5%.
This traditionally brewed lager has been slowly fermented, followed by a long cold conditioning process of three months. This produces a more stable refreshing beer full of natural aroma and smoother flavour.

Chelmsford Beer Festival. Bright clear gold beer. Little bubbly white head. Palate is nicely smooth with fine carbonation. Clean pale malt, slightly dry. Mellow but tasty citrus on the back end. Crisp finish. Doesn’t have that lager yeast tang but it’s one of the better cask lagers I’ ve tried.
