Papsoe (11076), Frederiksberg, Denmark Feb 19, 2008 (On tap) Clear, dark brown - close to black - with a vague, orange hue and a dense, creamy, beige head. Aroma of burned malt and...chlorine! Could this be because I had the day’s first pull? Rather light in body with vague, burned malt accents - very vague. And unfortunately more chlorine. Very subdued bitterness. 160208 beerledgend (808), Meadowbank Auckland, New Zealand Feb 26, 2007 Dark ruby red/black in colour, small white head. Malt biscuit aroma. Strong coffee flavour, Mild hop bitterness. Best of the range. omhper (10950), Stockholm, Sweden Feb 8, 2006 Draught at the brewpub. Very dark brown, small off white head. Dry and very roasty with creamy mouthfeel. Light bodied and soft with moderately bitter finish. A pretty good Irish style stout.
