12 ounce bottle from the Wine House Tel Aviv. Nice roasy nose. Chocolate taste. Light body. Slight metallic finish. Still, best Israeli beer yet.

A bit of coffee mixed up with some cereals and malt. Easily drinkable with a bit watery aftertaste. With a bit more abv this one could be a deep bodied and balanced stout.

Bottle from tomer - many thanks for this! The beer pours out in a deep black colour with steady low head and medium body. Aroma of malt, coffee and cappuccino. Taste of milky coffee, roasted barley, porridge, malt, bread, woods and torf. Earth finish. Nice one.

Dark ruby red, brown with small light brown foam head. Aroma is coffee, so is taste. Mostly coffee, some toffee sweetness. Bittersweet aftertaste. (Tel Aviv 201406)

Bottled, thanks DSG! Dark brown, rich beige head. Chocolaty nose with notes of minty black currant. Mid sweet with medium body and soft mouthfeel. Milk chocolate, notes of fudge and oat porridge. Slight licorice in a finish with fairly low bitterness. Laid back and pleasant.

Flaske på Sigmunds hytte, rbhd-gjengen er samlet igjen! Lett kaffeduft, fint men kort skum. Tørr, lett og litt metallisk. Kort ettersmak. Instantly forgettable.

Shared bottle at local tasting. Pours almos black with a small beige head. Aroma of grainy malts, weak coffee and oat. Creamy and filling mouthfeel. Taste is moderate sweet, with some dark fruits, weak coffee and caramel. Dry lingering finish.

Sigmund (4933) - Tau, NORWAY - APR 12, 2014
Shared bottle at local tasting. Black colour, tan head. Interesting aroma of exotic woodwork and mild roasty notes, mild coffee and a little chocolate. The flavour is fairly bland for a stout, rather dry, with mild roasty and chocolate notes.

ClubGonzo (3854) - Bergen, NORWAY - JAN 28, 2014
Bottle. Pours a jet black body with a medium creamy light beige head. Aroma is licorice, caramel, cream, grainy tones and hints of oxidized malts and faint sulfur. Taste is creamy caramel, grains, mild licorice and hints of butterscotch and brown sugar in the finish. Light to medium body, near-fizzy carbonation (which doesn’t suit the beer too well). A fair enough stout, but nothing special at the end of the day.

[Thanks to tomer]. Bottle. Black colour with a beige head that quickly diminishes. Aroma is coffee with metallic hints. Flavor is coffee, black chocolate and soma ashes hints. The final is black coffee and dry.
