Bottle at home, thanks to an IP trade with Tomer, 02/02/13. Light black with a tan head that thinned to a swirl atop and edgeing. Nose carries roast malts, oats a la chocolate in porridge, molasses, hint of coffee. Taste comprises roast malts, chocolate, molasses. Medium bodied, carbonation is a little over cooked but not detracting too much from this beer, dry finish. Solid enough stout !

Flaske p Sigmunds hytte, rbhd-gjengen er samlet igjen! Lett kaffeduft, fint men kort skum. Trr, lett og litt metallisk. Kort ettersmak. Instantly forgettable.

Shared bottle at local tasting. Pours almos black with a small beige head. Aroma of grainy malts, weak coffee and oat. Creamy and filling mouthfeel. Taste is moderate sweet, with some dark fruits, weak coffee and caramel. Dry lingering finish.

Sigmund (4811) - Tau, NORWAY - APR 12, 2014
Shared bottle at local tasting. Black colour, tan head. Interesting aroma of exotic woodwork and mild roasty notes, mild coffee and a little chocolate. The flavour is fairly bland for a stout, rather dry, with mild roasty and chocolate notes.

ClubGonzo (3509) - Bergen, NORWAY - JAN 28, 2014
Bottle. Pours a jet black body with a medium creamy light beige head. Aroma is licorice, caramel, cream, grainy tones and hints of oxidized malts and faint sulfur. Taste is creamy caramel, grains, mild licorice and hints of butterscotch and brown sugar in the finish. Light to medium body, near-fizzy carbonation (which doesnt suit the beer too well). A fair enough stout, but nothing special at the end of the day.

33cl bottle from DSG, thanks Barak. Black beer with lasting tan head. Rich chocolate aroma. Its pretty good to be honest. Its a decent chocolate thick stout. Vague soy sauce. The malts are pretty good. Surprisingly good. The best Israeli beer Ive had? Possibly
