Commercial Description:
A traditional American Style Golden Ale. Our version is fermented cooler and given an extra week of cold conditioning for an ale with the crisp finish of a lager. We use all American malts and hops with Liberty and Mount Hood providing the spicy hop bouquet.

I wanted this beer to be better, instead i kept thinking it was a bit off. and i am sad, since a nice shark beer would be grand.

Bottle: Misty gold, light head and lacing. Nose is biscuity with some sweet malts. Lots of chewy unfermented maltose (wort) notes in the flavor. A bit more neutral though with some light bitterness and subtle sweetness. Clean and well developed. I’m too kind to beers such as this.

Very lemony aroma, sweet malt aromas, very pale color for the style, some hull off flavors and aromas, lightly tangy, sweetness is more in the nose in the form of light carmels and molasses than in flavor. Very refreshing finish bright and crisp. Feel is mostly crisp with a touch of welcome creaminess. Body is a touch thin. Aftertaste of good bitter hops but also of less welcome grain tannins.
