COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
6 varieties of hops are used in total, including a variety grown in Cornwall by the Eden Project. This combination gives the beer a real hoppy punch to the aroma and flavour, supported and balanced by a sweet body, and a dry, bitter and lingering finish.

Aroma: fruity hops, citrus, grapefruit. Appearance: clear gold, small white head. Taste: light sweet. Palate: light bitters appearing, citrus flaovurs continue. Overall: nice Bitter, quite decent aroma - again, don’t be mislead by the "IPA" in the name. Pint at Anglesea Arms, London.

Small white head. Coppery body. Faint tropical fruity floral aroma, very harmonic. Dry-sweetish citric mango taste with mealy floral notes. Mild, smooth mouthfeel. Mid-bodied. Dryish floral resiny aftertaste with fruity mealy notes. Very nice and highly drinkable. (0.25l cask at Trafalgar Tavern, Greenwich, London.)

At Tom Cobley’s Inn, Spreyton, Devon. Gold in appearance with short head. Hoppy, floral scent. Well balanced (less bitter than I expected) and some carbonation. Hoppy start then some nuts and biscuits on the end.

Hand pulled at the Dog, Warley. Hop breathed bitter, but no follow through in flavour. Grassy finish - short and inoffensive. What’s the opposite of compelling?

Cask gravity at The Chambers, Folkestone. Golden colour. I wasn’t expecting anything too hoppy, but this is very good. Very good smack of sherberty hop on the finish. An oddish acidic quality, but the hops are excellent

DruncanVeasey (7112) - NUNEATON, Top 13, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - APR 3, 2010
Cask handpull, The Eden Project, Cornwall. Brilliant, almost Lucozade-orange gold with a fine slick. Fine aroma with fresh crushed biscuits, tea, blossom and orange peel hints. Fresh and balanced with tangy hop, clementine, lemon puffs, perfume and vanilla. Shows off the local hops to fine effect, if they do only constitute a sixth of the hop recipe. Cool.
