3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottled 0,50L. Intense red color with elengant dark orange reflex. Optimal bubbly aspect, a lot fine and extended. Light and evanescent head. Much pleasant aroma, very british, with rumors of burned wood, resin, honey. Bitter and decided taste, much fresh with decided resin notes. Balanced and pleasant alcohol content on the end.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Frisk flott og lettdrikkelig britisk IPA.
Herlig på varme sommer kvelder da en ikke orker "tunge" øl. Men allikevell vil ha øl som smaker :-)

2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
500ml bottle, Rehills, Newcastle. (ABV 4.8%). Centennial, Simcoe and Citra eh? Not obvious in this bottle. It’s a nice enough, pale-looking, beer, but soft and watery on the tongue and the palate. A slightly tangy and perfumed nose and taste, faint pepper, some citrus, but not enough to get excited about and almost lemonade shandy-like. Expected more, but maybe this is the way things are with Sharps now?

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Tasted cool not cold from the bottle and into a Sharp’s pint glass. Quite excited once the cap came off, a rush of effervescence pushing a plug of foam up the neck of the bottle and out to a smurf’s hat atop. Oddly still in the glass. Radiant, sunny orange-gold with little head passed a single layer of fine white bubbles. Mild caramel, good toasted malt notes, a little floral and peppery, earthy hops coming through too, on the nose. Firm, dry biscuity malt palate, nice citrus licks coming through on the sides, a little soapiness to the rear end which holds some flowery hops and a merely subliminal bitterness. Finish is flowery, herbal, dusty, all hop and relatively long but subdued. Body is quite light, the carbonation soft and prickly. Goes down with such ease, keeps well for the length. Very sessionable stuff!! (50cL, BB 29/07/11, Cellarbrations Kinross)

1.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Bottle. Simple bitter grass aroma. Too-pale amber and clear, head white and minimal and fully diminishes. Two weird black flecks of gunk in head... dont think they were supposed to be there since bottle has no sediment. Tast; well... an over-watery basic IPA flavour, too clean and boring to be a true IPA. Will concede to slight liqourice in finish. Label says" ...taken the essence of the original IPA and modernised it..." Why do that? This beer is an insult to IPAs... FAIL. Though can see the appeal if you enjoy watery insipid "beer". Light, thin, and flat on palate. Feel so... unsatisfied.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Little to say of interest about this beer. Soft aroma, grassy with some caramel. Nicely balanced flavour, mild caramel malt, pleasing citric hop, and some restrained fruitiness. Well put together.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Pours a amber colour with a good white head. Good hoppy and plenty of malt in the aroma. The taste is all malt and hops, with a hint of fruit. Medium bodied, lightly carbonated. A pretty decent beer.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Buona IPA molto corretta, aroma di luppolo fresco, bell’amaro nel finale; anche qui buona conservazione nonostante la bottiglia trasparente. Bene

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Palish bronze with very small off white head. Drops away very quickly. Aromas are very subdued. SOme malt sweetness and not much else. Flavours are slightly better with some malt sweetness and just a touch of bittner. Mouthfeel is quite watery. OK.
