Pale in colour with a citrussy hop character, underpinned by the typical Sharp’s fruity character. Refreshingly crisp, light mouthfeel - very drinkable.

Cask@Pratts and Payne, Streatham, London - Amber pour with white head. Toasted sweet malty forward, lots of caramel sweetness, some twiggy herbal hoppy edge, basic stuff overall. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Golden in colour with a distinct herbal hop aroma. Most of the hops seem to have been used for aroma though as the copper hopping is obviously quite light, but a slight hint of citrus seeps through. Finish understandably short but quite a refreshing beer nonetheless.

Pint at Royal Oak, Alton. Very pale and slightly cloudy in colour with frothy head. Aroma fruity, particularly citrus. Taste crisp with citrussy new world hops and a slight saltiness. Refreshing but a bit too watery - would have a really good profile if it were somewhat stronger and more robust with the hoppiness.

*Old rating, cask in the UK. Smooth mild brown beginning. Easy to drink and still full bodied. Nice brown malt, nice Ale-characteristics. Round but not too deep brew!

Cask at O’Neills, Reading. Light amber with a thick white head. Pleasantly lemony up front, but then slightly slimy caramel and some sulphur kick in. Mild bitterness at the end. Dull but drinkable.

Another very easy drinking beer from Sharps. A pale golden ale with a citrusy aroma and well balanced taste with a bitter finish.

Towey1989 (1899) - Stoke On Trent, Staffordshire, ENGLAND - DEC 23, 2015
Cask at The Cobblers, Leek. A clear deep golden colour with a medium white head. Aroma of lemon, orange pith, some melon, slight straw and a little caramel. Taste of lemon, melon, some orange, slight caramel and subtle grassiness. Medium bodied and soft carbonation. A bittersweet, caramel, citrus hop bitterness in the finish. An odd beer, citrusy at times then malty at others. Overall decent but a little miss match.
