Commercial Description:
Cask; Regular.
Originally 4.6%, then 4.8%, moved to 4.2% in June, 2007.
Pale in colour with a citrussy hop character, underpinned by the typical Sharp's fruity character. Refreshingly crisp, light mouthfeel - very drinkable.

Cask at the Priory Arms, 9th July 2008. Hazy golden amber with little aroma. Bland, uninspiring flavour with only a little bitterness. Very average indeed but like my last rate, I think the poor cellarmanship of the new staff at the Priory Arms made this worse than it should have been.

Cask at BH, Pori. Hazy golden, creamy lacing pale head. Sweet passion fruit, mango aroma, slight nuttiness. Balanced, sweet malty flavor, mild exotic fruity hops, very easy. Light bodied, low carbonation. A nice session ale, it’s even got slight IPA -like tones.

Cask, £1.65 a pint night at The Crown, Nuneaton. At last! A beer with some condition I’m actually enjoying. Dead caramel aroma with a hint of hop mustiness. Mellow tropical fruit hop hints and tired almond, vanilla-accented malty smoothness, clean pale malt nibbles of peanut. Not especially hoppy or anything like a true IPA, of course. Silky and a bit dead but slips down nicely enough.

Thirst quenching, summer drinking reminded me of tangerines. Not great body. Cask it is ok. Bottle is a bit watery.

Cask, served at a perfect drinking temperature at the brewery’s bar, GBBF. Clear, golden body. Grass-hoppy smell flavoured with citrus fruits and a crisp, bitter ending. Watery texture ( 09.08.2008)
