Bottle @ Eden Project cafe. Bright honey but thin head. Doesn’t smell like ginger ale, which is good. Flavors are pretty nice. The ginger actually works well here, balanced with floral hops. High carbonation but juicy body. Orange fruit flavors are juicy and good. Much better than expected.
3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 harrisoni (10909) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - DEC 26, 2010
Hey a Christmas present that was actually useful (unlike the onion cutter from my Mother that broke the first time I used it. Gold with a slight haze and very thin white head. Advertised as a beer with ginger so I should like it. Aroma of sherbert hop and some ginger. Its ok in the mouth. More sherbert hop with touch of soap. Malts are just about ok in that they are pale and give a little structure but nothing more than barely adequate. Light with some ginger flavour rather than Bark. Still a nice enough aperatif. Some orange blossom throughout.
