Poured in the Barn with John and Liz. Sweet malt and light hop made a refreshing pint. Pity I got beat at pool.

Poured into pint Nonic glass, at cellar temperature. Deep russet, with medium white head, some lacing. Aroma of malt with only light hops, carried through to the flavour, with a hint of dessert apple. Full bodied and malty sweet, perhaps due to high mashing temperature. A very British beer!
