50 cl bottle, Sheffield, UK. Amber colour, nice caramel aroma. Smooth and sweet, some bitterness but mostly honey and malt.

Clear bottle, 500, best before JAN 11, savoured on September 10 2010; eye: copper with a golden hue, clear, no effervescence, really tiny ring of off-white head, no lacing; nose: malt, grain; mouth: malt, grain, a bit of caramel, finale in grain with slight hops, medium body, below-average carbonation, lightly sweet, slightly bitter, grainy texture, thin; overall: correct FRANÇAIS Bouteille transparente, 500 ml, meilleure avant JAN 11, savourée le 10 septembre 2010; œil : cuivrée avec une teinte dorée, claire, pas d’effervescence, très petit anneau de mousse beige, pas de dentelle; nez : malt, grain; bouche :malt, grain, un peu de caramel, finale en gain avec un très léger houblon, corps moyen, carbonatation sous la moyenne, légèrement sucrée, très légèrement amère, texture granuleuse, mince; en résumé : correct

This rounded, aromatic ale excites the palate from the off. Tingly mouthfeel and flavours of chocolate, light fruit and long bready notes. A dash of dusty hop crowns it. Tasty.

Quite a tasty beer. The aroma is nicely balanced, sweet toasted caramel and a pleasing bitterness. Flavour wise the beer is similar with some chewy maltiness and a slightly oily long finish. A little simple well made beer.

Amber brown body with no head. Light caramel and cardboard notes in the taste. Drinkable but not interesting.

Fruity, biscuity but gentle bitter, nice summer evening refreshment. Very drinkable, pleasant but not complex aftertaste. Refreshing.

Bottled (from bierzwerg.de). Finally got my hands on this, so I stop buying this as cask version, from not remembering which I have had... Amber olour with mediumsized foamy slightly off-white head, that leaves some lae. Aroma is caramel malts, some mild toasted notes, mild nuttyness as well as some wooden and fruity notes. Flavour is quite similar, but the wooden notes are more evident.

Shared this one w/SkyCop32. Pours a medium brown color with red hues. Aromas of hops, malts, and a slight nose of nuts. Flavor is hoppy, with a sweet malt taste. Was watery towards the end.
