2.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 foolberry (49) - New Malden, Surrey, - DEC 11, 2012Nice toasty aroma, smells hoppy and interesting. But the taste is watery - almost nothing there at all. And it’s weak and oily on the palate. Not up to much - sorry.

perhaps this better as a cask ale. Oveall seems flat and unlively, flavor is OK but rather bland. Almost no head to speak of. Mouthfeel is slick with a little lingering bitterness. Just average.
2.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Nilz (232) - Glasgow, SCOTLAND - MAY 26, 2013
A dark amber with minimal head. Aroma malt and some molasses. Taste of a malty sweetness and a balanced bitterness. Not unlike Hobgoblin’s Ruby Ale and that’s fairly pleasant.

Yup see what everyone means about poor head retention. I got the malts and caramel. Went down nice though. Would have again and need to try draught as they have at my caravan park.
2.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 Pizd (78) - Merseyside, ENGLAND - APR 30, 2013
(Bottle): Pours a clear chesnut amber with pretty much no head. Not much of an aroma but caramel and apples come through. Taste is dominated by sweetness and acidity, there’s a fairly good base of malt and caramel which saves it from being a complete waste of money. Not good.
