[CASK: The Waterhouse, Manchester 24/04/07] Reasonable middle range ale that lacked excitment that my perception had build up from the name. Not to shabby but could have been so much more.

Cask - The Dolphin, Canterbury. Orange beer with yellow tints and a small but dense white head. Sweet and floral aromas. Fairly crisp flavours of fruity malts and a a little floral essence in the predominantly dry, lightly bitter finish. Quite thin in body, light and refreshing.

Cask conditioned at Pride of Spitalfields, London
Amber color, thin head. Some caramel aroma; good caramel flavor, quite round mouthfeel. A correct brew, but quite simple.

Top session brew. Decent head which was fairly tight. Nice and malty. Slightly fruity smelling, good mouthfeel. Slips down a treat.

The English bitter is thin and malty and this one is no exception, its got a slight caramel and mild hint of honey, I like it alot.
