Mid brown colour. Quite hoppy and bitter, but with some underlying sweetish tones. Reasonably full bodied. A well-rounded best bitter. Cask, GBBF, August 2003.

Bottled. Ginger, rustic colour, no head to speak of. Caramelised malt aroma supported by good bitter structure. Eden Ale is commissioned by the Eden Project, a biological science project in Cornwall. It’s an amazing place to visit but get there early. www.edenproject.com

April, 2007Market Porter Flowery notes in a reasonably pleasant but undistinguished standard bitter. A little sweet - few hops. OK. [2.7]
April, 2008 JDW - Rodboro Buildings, Guildford. A clean, crisp pale bitter with a peppery finish. Some soft fruit. A pleasant beer that doesn’t stand out significantly. [2.9]

rauchbier (3559) - Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, ENGLAND - OCT 22, 2002
Bottled. Amber colour, good rocky head with nice lace and moderate condition. Fruity hop and toffee malt aromas, had hints of caramel and good hop flavour along with a faint but refreshing fruity tartness and a creamy finish with a good delicate hop bitterness.
