Cask conditioned - The Harp - WC2. A mid brown beer with some hoppiness in the aroma. The taste was bitter and fruity with a hint of an orange taste.

Rune (7777) - Tromsø, NORWAY - OCT 12, 2006
Very clear amber colour with only a filmy layer. Aroma of hops and caramel. The flavour starts with a sharp caramel taste turning into honey and ending with nice bitterness. Well rounded (very well kept half pint on cask at The Harp, 18.09.2006).

Mid brown colour. Quite hoppy and bitter, but with some underlying sweetish tones. Reasonably full bodied. A well-rounded best bitter. Cask, GBBF, August 2003.

Bottle picked up at Morrison’s, Bridport, Dorset. Amber in colour, sweetish tasting bit caramelley, some malts some hops not too bad at all.

MesandSim (7119) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - APR 10, 2007
A Sim Rate (Cask at Planet Thanet): Labelled "Eden Pure Ale". Doesn’t smell of much. Subtle malt and wheat. Tastes bitter at first with slight metal. Bit of orange or tangerine in the finish. Clean and easy-drinking.

   AROMA 4/10   APPEARANCE 3/5   TASTE 5/10   PALATE 3/5   OVERALL 10/20
DruncanVeasey (7112) - NUNEATON, Top 13, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - APR 13, 2010
Bottle. Copper with a slim fine collar and plenty of lace. Standard clear-bottled pasteurised waft of caramel, hay and vegetables. Flavour marginally better; watery tea, caramel, jellied orange, hay. However, all round, a pretty piss-poor beer to be associated with the Eden Project, unlike the excellent (cask) 6 Hop IPA.
