Gravity at Plymouth Beer Festival. Amber with no head. Scent is honey, maybe slightly vinegary. Taste is predominantly of malts. OK but average.

Clears off the tongue well. Malty and slightly challenging at first. Doesn’t work in the bottle, which has no mouthfeel or aftertaste.

Cask &#40;St. Urho’s, Helsinki&#41;<br /> Orangy brown, healthy loose head. Grainy aroma. Bold estery taste, light fleshy fruits. An almost salty sour edge too. Refreshing palate, but almost no carbonation at all. A touch of ginger later, and a dark leathery hoppiness, and a touch of horseblanket. Quite potent bitter finish. Good interesting traditional bitter.

Draught. Low white and quickly disappearing head. Clear dark brown body. Nutty caramel butter aroma. Bitter sweet flavor with nuts and caramel. Low carbonation, long aftertaste.

Handpulled cask at JDW Lloyds No 1 Bar Bromley during recent international beer fest. Pale amber with creamy head and in very lively condition. Sweet and malty with gentle hoppy finish. Good.
