Bottle 500ml.

Clear medium to dark brown amber color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, caramel, light chocolate malt. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, tobacco, chocolate notes, licorice notes, dry. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100911]

Bottled. A deep red beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, and citrusy hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and citrusy hops, leading to a bitter finish.

50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden deep brown with a small off-white head. Aroma is mild hops fruity and roasted dark malty. Sweet fruity, hops, and roasted caramelish malt. Mild bitterness coming through a nice roasted caramel malt base into the finish.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of joergen. Pours a clear orangey brown with a small off-white head. Fresh and rather citrusy hops in the nose. Medium body, roasted malts, raisins and wood with some brown sugar also. A dry finish, not that hoppy though. Excellent. Old Ale territory rather. 110910

Bottled (thanks omhper). Deep amber colour, small brown head. Aroma is bready, nutty and has some slight notes of riped fruits. Flavour is caramel malts, some mild toasted notes, toffee and mild spices. Quite sweet, otherwise nice.

Bottled. Clear deep ruby, rich creamy head. Tinny nose with ripe fruit behind. Sweet and fruity, medium bodied with clean, rounded mouthfeel, Toffee and overripe apples, slight grassy finish with notes of tin. Definitely with a flavour associated with late autumn harvests, but with some off flavours too.

Bottle at Papsø. Clear orange red coloured with a medium sized off-white head. Fruity aroma of caramel, hops and pine needles. Fruity flavour of caramel, hops and pine needles with notes of liquorice powder. Hoppy finish.

Bottle @ Papsø-Grand-Tasting, September 2010. Pours clear amber with a off white bubbly head. Bread, grain, caramel and perfume. Some hops. Medium bodied. Dry end. Bland.

Bottle from Systembolaget. Medium head with medium duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are caramel, malt, fruits and hops.

Hazy dark amber with a small off white head. Sweet aroma with roasted malt, hops, liquerice and caramel. Sweet flavor with hard roasted malt, plenty of hops, liqourice and caramel.
