"Delicious jellied fruit aromas blend perfectly with inviting roasted notes. The mouthfeel is succulent with dried fruit, malt and delicate hop bitterness. The finish is lingering and warm with fruit and malt notes."

Cask at the Royal Cornwall Show. Ruby with some cream froth. A fruity, malty brew. Not an aweful lot else to report. OK, but not overly interesting.

Cask at The Abbot Cork. Cloudy brown with a thin head, ok lacing. Dried plum aroma. Flavour is dark sugary fruit, a kick of malt with a light bitterness in the finish. Palate is dry English ale.

Aroma: caramel malts. Appearance: clear dark brown, no head. Taste: light to medium sweet. Palate: sweets continue, malts, very light bitterness coming up towards the average-long finish, flat carbonation. Overall: great Premium Bitter, lovely palate. Pint at Craft Beer Rising festival, London.

Cask at the Half Moon, Windlesham, 27/07/13. Dark amber/light chestnut brown with a moderately sized beige head. Nose is bready malt, hop backnotes, light caramel, ribena berry notes, darker fruit tones. Taste comprises berry fruits, light sugar, touch of caramel/toffee, dark fruits, bready malts. Medium bodied, soft carbonation - this cask is on good form, light bitter notes in the finish. Decent fruity ESB, I’ll happily return to this number.

500ml bottle courtesy of mr_h. Medium brown colour, not much head. Distinct jellied fruit aroma as per description. Dry fruity malt flavour which feels artificial to me. Fruity bitter aftertaste. It’s OK but there is something unnatural about this beer.

cask@George on the stand, London - Amber pour with a small beige head. Light floral nuances with sweet caramel malt, wood and pine notes with a good bitter finish. Pretty decent overall.

Dark amber bitter with subtle fruit notes but also a flat and less than attractive texture.
