3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
I think the ABV may be effecting judgement but .... Pours a tawny wind with an effervescent head which disappears quick. Aroma of berries and cherries and fruitbeer expectation. Taste is delightfully malty, toffee chocolate box which leads to strawberry and burnt sugar. The mouthfeel is dry bitter which is slightly wrong. I like this beer but suspect a big brewer has alcopopped me.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a deep ruby brown colour with a bubbly head which vanishes almost instantly. Nice aroma, red fruits, slight yeast, caramelised stewed apples, spicey and almost medicinal herbal quality and then some slightly burnt sugar. Taste is quite sweet, then sour and pleasingly dry and bitter with the coriander notes lingering on the finish. The alcohol is also noticable. Shame itís a little watery as others have said. Overall a nice drop and I am pleased I picked up three bottles!

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from Morrison, Newport shared with McTapps. Slightly sourish with herbs, some spices and bread in the aroma. Medium bitter aftertaste and some extra herbs in the end. Not bad.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle from Morrisons in Newport. Pours out in a deep dark ruby-brown colour with low steady head and medium body. Aroma of herbs and spices with some malty hints. Taste of light yeast, bitter hops, raisins, bread, spices and herbs. Light unquaffable and thin finish. Nice one.

4.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle. Bronze with a lovely spiced aroma. Body is powerful yet easy to drink. Spicy with some subtle traces of wheat. Very dangerous as there is little hint of its strength when you are drinking it. Easily the best beer I have ever bought from TESCO.

2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Nose is rose, berries, coriander, slight strawberry yeast - there is a decent amount going on, but itís suspiciously heavy on the fruit notes. Taste is berries, leading to strawberry and yeast, lots of sugars, plum, then a dry coriander finish. Mouthfeel is awful and far too thin.
Itís a beer with a lot going on but the berry/strawberry notes from the yeast overpower everything and with the sugars, it becomes a little one note and too much like a fruit beer. It lacks true depth.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from Tesco. Drunk at home. Very late. Colour is a reddish golden brown, with a fair amount of beige head. Berries, roses and muted yeast in the nose. Taste is warming and sweet, with a floral/berry aftertaste. This is a pleasant beer, but it isnít particularly complex. Iíd recommend looking past the Sharps label and get one (or three) of these.

4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
330ml dark glass bottle from Tesco. Unfiltered, though minimal residue left in the bottle. Pleasant warmth and depth from the coriander. This is like a marriage of a Belgian ale and a wheat beer. It is rather attractive and easily drinkable. The coriander is used to compliment the fruit and sweet malt of the beer, and it does it very well. Thereís figs and licorice and burnt toffee and red plum jam. Thereís smoke and wood and magic. I like this. And Iím impressed. Itís really good to see brewers making something a little different, a little exciting, and not simply throwing in huge amounts of American hops. Good stuff. More like this please.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Slightly hazy, dark amber in colour,a steady bead of bubbles fails to provide a head other than a thin patchy island in the middle of the glass. Lovely spicy/malty nose is very appealing, quite smooth mouthfeel, again quite spicy, but has a nice citrus edge ( from the hops?) the finish is long and lingering. The 9% is noticable, but not overpowering, a nice drop of beer!
