Cask conditioned at The Tinners Arms, Zennor, Cornwall as Zennor Mermaid. Deep copper with cream head. Richly malty, fresh flavours, some baked bread crust with a slightly earthy note, this is followed by a leafy hop flavour. Dry and bitter. Tasty.

Cask at the Half Moon, Windlesham - 27/11/12.
Pours to a clear chestnut brown with a thin off white head that clears to the edge then nothing.
Nose comprises toffee, dark malts, caramel, light nutty tones.
Tastes of dark treacle toffee, touch of booze evident, dates, dark fruit, light spice akin to a Belgian Dubbel.
Medium bodied with no carbonation, very flat.

Half pint, hand pulled cask at Pakenham Arms. Hazy dark apricot coloued body. Fawn-coloured head. Malt-fruity aroma. Caramel malty taste together with sweet fruits. Mild yeasty fruitiness to the ending. Bland, but drinkable (London, 27.11.2012).
