muzzlehatch (4425), Burlington, Vermont, USA Aug 4, 2006 Draught pint at the brewpub. Pale hazy orange-read with a small lasting creamy head, touch of lace....lovely aromatic aroma, baked apples and fresh acidic citrus, woody English hops lightly kissed by the cool breeze of PNW rainforest....very low carbonation, striving I think for that "natural" feel but unfortunately it’s really on the sweet/cloying side in the body, juicy and lightly bitter at first but really thick and syrupy in the middle....hops come in at the finish to perform a rescue operation and are moderately successful. This is so close to being a great beer....as it is, a really mixed bag.
