Not a great IPA. Gold colori wth no real head. I see another rater noticed what i did, no aroma to speak of! Where is the hop bite? Too much malt and grain flavor.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours amber with a thin white head. Aroma’s dominated by citrus and yields touches of hay and straw. Tastes citrussy with hints of staw and dry pilsner malt. Finish yields some moderate bitterness. Mouthfeel is light and dry.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Light hazy orange in color. Aroma is light citrus and pine, with some caramel malts in the background. Taste is a moderate amount of citrus, with a light malt backbone, moderately bitter citrus and pine/earthy finish. ok.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Hand-bottle sampled on 8/26/06: Pours a clear golden bronze with a thin-lacing wispy off-white head. Earthy piny grapefruity hoppy aroma has a nice malty caramel balance. Body is thinner with little sweetness and a more bitter floral hoppy finish. Good aroma, but disappointing body.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Thanks to weeare138. Shiny metallic gold body with a loose sudsy white head. Musty, ripe citrus aroma. Flavor has Shed signatures with aspects of whole grapefruits and a lightly tart impression. Nice lacerative, lingering bitter finish. Has a light aspirin quality and some mild astringency, but pleasing overall. Looks like he dialed this one in over time.

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
I loved the aroma on this! Some perfume, orange, and peaches. The flavor is rather subdue but slightly hoppy with some grapefruit, peaches, and oranges. This would be a great session IPA.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
KP’s Fest. Hand-bottle courtesy of Weare113. Thanks Mike. Pours a very light gold slight haze and a lasting white head. Aroma is very nice- lots of grapefruit, simcoe hops- citrus and light pine. Flavor was a bit weak which was surprising fromt he big hop aroma noticed upfront. Light pale malts, and some more citrus and grapefruit but not very intense. Nice claen crisp bitter finish. Pretty decent IPA.
