3.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
nice deep brown hint of red appearance . I really enjoyed the maltiness of this; smoother, sweeter less roasted than other brown ales I've tried recently. I really enjoyed it.

1.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
First shed Iíve tasted, hereís to you muzzlehatch. On tap at the bocktown. Look is darker brown but not real dark. Barely any aroma. Quite strong on the first taste. Much stronger than anticipated. Yes, seems to kick you back in your seat. Bitterness builds on the sides and back of your tongue but not like ipa. Even seems to be a little viscous towrds the end.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Serving: 12 oz. bottle from State Line Liquors. It pours a hazy reddish brown with a small, off white head. Slight plastic esters in the nose. A little sweet and plastic like in the flavor. Some nuttiness but not a lot of character. A bit lifeless on the tongue. It needs to be cleaned up a bit.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Brown with ruby highlights and a tan head. Aroma is malty, light roasted, chocolate, and fruity. Flavor is sweet malts, chocolate, lightly roasted malts. Not a lot of complexity but seriously easy to drink. Not sure if Iíd pick up a sixer, but a pint at the bar isnít out of the question.
