Cask @ University Arms, Sheffield. Smoky, roasty aroma. Roasty flavor with coffee and licorice. Long roastbitter aftertaste. Solid porter, but I miss some fruity notes.

Cask (handpump) @ The KIT (Kelham Island Tavern), 62 Russell Street, Sheffield, South Yorkshire, England S3 8RW.
Clear medium to dark red brown color with a average to large, creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, burnt notes, chlorine. Flavor is moderate sweet and burnt malt bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat.

Cask, gravity at Merton Winter Beer Festival 6th and 7th Feb 2009 Pours dark brown with off white head. Aroma is a little chocolaty. This quite fruity and the malts show with a certain smokiness detected at times, an enjoyable porter. A7 A4 F6 P4 OV13 3.4

Cask conditioned at Merton Winter Beer Fest 09. Dark brown with slight head. A rich fruity beer with a strongish burnt caramel, coffee body. Some sweetness within the beer with a sharp astringency. Reasonable Porter.
