radagast83 (1071), Springfield, Virginia, USA May 11, 2008 Pours a golden color with a thin white head. The aroma is yeast, banana, and cloves. Flavor is, well, pretty bland. It’s drinkable, but I wouldn’t make this a staple of my regular beers from Shenandoah.
jcwattsrugger (4045), Florida and, New Jersey, USA Apr 7, 2007 on tap-pours a thin white head and gold/amber color. Aroma is sweet grain. Taste is sweet wheat, yeast-banana/clove, light spice, faint hops. Nice, smooth. Good effervescence. Braudog (3463), Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates Mar 27, 2007 Draft at the brewery; all three beers we had poured looked exactly the same. Muddy light brown and slightly opaque, quite still. The oddest amongst them for the visual is this "wheat". This is vaguely yeasty, definitely musty, and very flat. Overall, my one-word rating would be summed up by "blah." (#2762, 3/24/2007) hopscotch (4579), Vero Beach, Florida, USA Nov 23, 2006 Bottle... Cloudy golden ale with a huge, frothy, off-white head. Excellent retention. Yeasty, sweet aromas of bread, tangerine and banana. Mostly sweet flavor with gentle bitterness. Soap and grain. Medium-bodied and watery with feather-soft carbonation. Flat, grainy finish. webjedi (247), Silver Spring, Maryland, USA Nov 19, 2006 I have to disagree with Greg (Blank) on this one. I found this the most drinkable beer of the evening. I think this batch had a bit more whallop than the 3.5% that it was advertising. Yes, it may have beena bit thin, but the wheat and malt were pretty blanced. Nicely sweet and pleasant. I was using it as the session beer of the evening. (Tap 11/15/2006 @ Brewery)
