Cask @ The Sir John Moore JDW. Medium brown colour, reasonable head. Rustic malt aroma. Dry nutty bitter malt flavour. Bitter aftertaste. Very average. More a bitter than an amber ale.

Cask at The Weeping Ash (JDW), St Neots, Cambridgeshire. Amber with a small off white head. Attractive sweet peachy aroma. Less sweetness in the taste, which has malt and a grapefruit tang. Mid to sharp bitterness. Quite good.

Cask @ Sir John Moore, JDW. Amber colour, off-white head. Nose is light malted, citrus and pine. Flavour is slight toasted malts, citric, pine, some bitterness. Slightly sweet finish. A little one-dimensional.
