True story: An ex girlfriend once slapped my best mate, very hard, for asking her if she had ever enjoyed Bishop’s Finger. Hoho... fun times.

Bottle from super market. Dark amber color, white head. Bitter taste with caramel, herbs and malts. Body lacks some depth. Dry bitter finish. Classic, enjoyable bitter.

500 ml bottle. A two-finger dense beige head over a clear, plain brown colored body. Moderate aroma of caramellish malts with a nutty and light hoppy note. Taste is light malty and has a fair amount of earthy bittering hops. Feels somewhat watery in the mouth. Fine bitterness in the ending. Likeable.

Nice brown colour, also the bottle looks very nice. Taste was a bit disappointing. It would be fine without that watery taste/aftertaste. Next time I will choose the stronger version of Bishops Finger.

I got this in a English shop in Antwerp, Belgium. In the beginning i actually like the beer, nice flavor to it. Very easy drinkable. But, after a wile this beer became to Bitter for me. It was ok, but not to repeat.

Bottled. Clear copper colour. Frothy head. Subtle notes of sweet caramel and Kentish hops in aroma, but not much malt profile. Watery with bit of butterscotch, bit of toast malts and UK hops. Flavourwise very nice but oh so lacking in body. Nice light bitterness.

Bottle, 3.5%. Nutty aroma, grainy vinousness. Clear amber colour. Small tan head. The flavour is nutty with grassy and spicy aroma hops. A bit watery, as expected.
