2.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Two bottles sampled with Catweazle and Finn while watching Argentina and Mexico on TV. Golden brown. Beige head. Malty aroma. Caramel flavour with some hoppy notes. Watery, but alright.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottled. An amber beer with a thick white head. The aroma is sweet hoppy with light notes of caramel, and so is the flavor. The body is thin (no woder).

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle. Clear copper colour, with a thin off-white head. Really not much malt aroma, just some burnt sugar notes, and grassy hops. Thin and watery, very bitter finish. The full strenght version is much better.

UPDATED: FEB 5, 2012 Nice orange redish colour, but taste not so good. Gets easier after first time, but way to bitter with stronf sweet accent in the end.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
UPDATED: DEC 16, 2006 (Bottled) Dark, deep reddish copper color with a medium, frothy head. The aroma is initially toffee-malty and woody-hoppy, but fades quickly into slightly metallic and mildly caramely - watered down. Woody, acidic hops strike you at first, but the rest is an ashy and acidic downslide into a mildly caramely finish. There’s some faint, sweetish toffee maltiness in the background, but overall the flavor is surprisingly thin and metallic - even considering the ABV. Light-bodied, quite watery palate with medium, fizzy carbonation. This one is so badly diluted with water, that it hurts!

Lokks like an ordinary Bishops but a lot weaker in all means. I guess they’ve just poured water in it...

Nice amber/caramel color beer. The one i had was bitter with a very clean buit not much flavor. Good any time of year, the name is great, although the clear bottle might have changed the flavor, gonna have to try tap sometime. Brought from the UK by my friend.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
Bottle, courtesy of saxo. A clear, amber beer with a small, off-white head. Bready nose with a strange fruityness and some hay. The flavor is bready and caramel-ish, with some faint bitterness. Medium body and a short, bready finish. A super-boring beer that is drinkable and all that, but I don’t want to have again. 110416
